The new station, located in Florida, covers 3.7 acres of land and includes five fast-fill dispensers for easy in-and-out fueling and 98 time-fill fueling hoses
Clean Energy Fuels, a provider of the cleanest fuel for the transportation market, has introduced its latest renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling station in Davenport, Florida, for heavy-duty trucks and other fleets operating around Highway 27, I4, and the Florida Turnpike area.

The new station, located at 2450 Access Road, covers 3.7 acres of land and includes five fast-fill dispensers for easy in-and-out fueling and 98 time-fill fueling hoses.

“Clean Energy has seen a strong demand for RNG fuel from both new and existing customers. The Davenport station is in a great location to supply clean fuel to the many fleets that operate in the central Florida area,” said Chad Lindholm, SVP of Clean Energy. “The investments being made by Clean Energy in RNG production will ensure a steady flow of RNG fuel to this station and hundreds of others that are in our network around the country.”

The opening of the RNG station supports Cummins’ X15N natural gas engine, which has been tested by Walmart, Knight-Swift, UPS, and Amazon. The engine is being more broadly adopted due to its power, torque, fuel economy, and ability to reduce GHG emissions.

Currently, the company has a network of over 600 fueling stations in North America and is gradually expanding the number with stations purposely built and strategically located for heavy-duty truck fleets.

The company is also ensuring substantial investments in the production of RNG at dairy farms. Compared to diesel, RNG reduces carbon emissions by an average of 300%.
