The recently completed Staten Island charging facility features both standard direct-current (DC) fast chargers and pantograph chargers in the 150 kW to 300 kW range.

Verdek is in a New York State of Charge. The electric vehicle charging infrastructure firm is busy installing new stations in Brooklyn and Staten Island.

The recently completed Staten Island charging facility features both standard direct-current (DC) fast chargers and pantograph chargers in the 150 kW to 300 kW range. The Verdek facility also will support sustainability of the borough’s public transportation network.

The charging hub in Brooklyn will be located in the Bensonhurst neighborhood. The upcoming installation will feature a mix of high-capacity and versatile EV chargers, including three 50-kW DC chargers and one 150-kW DC charger that will offer rapid charging solutions for drivers requiring a quick recharge during busy schedules. The future installation also will include two Level 2 Chargers operating at 6.2 kW, catering to longer-duration charging needs, ideal for residents and visitors parking for extended periods.

The Bensonhurst EV charging facility is expected to be completed in the coming months. The project will not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also enhance the quality of life for residents by promoting cleaner and quieter transportation options.

The Bensonhurst and Staten Island projects support New York City's broader climate action goals by expanding EV infrastructure to high-traffic urban centers. The initiatives represent Verdek's ongoing commitment to transforming urban mobility while addressing the challenges of densely populated neighborhoods.
