Schneider Electric, Mobility House Riding Together on EV Charging Infrastructure Projects
Energy management and microgrid developer Schneider Electric will collaborate with The Mobility House Solutions, a smart charging technology firm, on rolling out and scale up electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The partnership will seek to work with developers on new in-transit or in-depot charging solutions. Schneider Electric and The Mobility House are hoping the solution will simplify deployment and commissioning of transportation electrification projects.
“Together, we are poised to speed up the deployment of important technologies for fleet electrification,” Asha Devasia, senior vice president of power systems strategy at Schneider Electric, said in a statement. “We expect this cooperation to serve a cross-section of markets seeking a smart and sensible approach to charging performance and coordination.”
Schneider brings global experience on energy management solutions. The Mobility House offers advanced EV charging through its ChargePilot technology which claims to reduce both grid connection and energy costs.
“Partnering with a strong industry leader like Schneider Electric allows us to combine our expertise and join forces to accelerate the electrification of mobility, delivering innovative and impactful solutions on a global scale,” Heiko Bayer, managing director at The Mobility House Solutions, said.
The Mobility House has completed more than 2,000 EV charging projects. Since 2021, the company has worked with AlphaStruxure, a microgrid development joint venture of Schneider Electric and Carlyle Group, on energy-as-a-service projects in North America.
AlphaStruxure has integrated The Mobility House’s ChargePilot in coordination with Schneider’s microgrid controller and software.
