BC Transit in British Columbia has awarded Nova Bus an additional contract for 29 LFSe+, Nova Bus' 40-foot all-electric bus model.
The electric bus order will join the 33 LFSe+ ordered by BC Transit in spring of 2023. A total of 62 Nova Bus electric buses will be a part of BC Transit's zero-emission fleet.
The LFSe+ is Nova’s model based on the LFS platform, offering the all-electric, sustainable version of the city bus. The LFSe+ operates year-round in several Canadian cities, including Vancouver, British Columbia.
“The new electric buses will help us achieve our goal of reducing fleet emissions by 40% by 2030,” said Erinn Pinkerton, President and CEO of BC Transit, in a statement.
